First Stop
The day in Navasota was even better than I expected! The first place I visited with the book was my old Bible study group in my old town. I knew I had to go back there but had a lot of mixed emotions about it. But I decided to press through and see how things looked from a new perspective.
The amazing thing about God's Word is that it speaks for itself and carries its own power. He doesn't need us to make it more exciting or try to add anything to it. The ladies responded to the message and I could see some who were really taking it to heart for the first time. We talked, we prayed, we shared lunch and we gave long hugs. It was a day of VICTORY, revisiting the place where a lot of the pain happened and going back as an overcomer. I have a feeling that this was the beginning of something important and I'll get to find out what it is!
Thank You, Father, for redemption!

Just Getting Started!
Hello, Reader!
I'm just getting started on this new blog for this new book but wanted something to be out here for anyone who might be looking for me, more about the book or help in dealing with depression.
"Out of the Pit" is available online on amazon and barnes & noble -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EYTVQEQ/ref=rdr_kindle_ext_tmb and,
http://e /w/out-of-the-pit-barbara-blair/1123741281?ean=9781498471923
If you get it online, I'd appreciate if you'd leave a review after you read it. The more reviews there are, the more likely people are to buy it and for the message to get out to the ones who really need it.
The next thing I'm going to do is set up a new email address for contact (once I figure out how to use my gmail account!) so we can be in touch. In the meantime, please know that you are not alone, there IS Truth and healing and you'll get there. God promises that if we seek Him with all our hearts, we WILL find Him.
And His Word is always true.
God bless you today,
Barbara
